Those two acryl-paintings were created on a 2 feet x 2 ˝ feet canvas and were made for Herbert Köfer's 2007 stage play „Two Men at One Stove“ (Herbert Köfer is a very famous German Actor). The paintings were part of the play. Herbert Köfer had to put white paint on the green part of the 2-parted painting to turn it back into a winter-picture every evening. After the show they had to wipe it off. In order to safe the original painting from destruction we put several layers of clear varnish on the painting. The picture on the right side shows Andrea handing out her painting to Herbert Köfer.
Andrea did the drawing for Katja Krauß's book „Hunde erziehen mit dem Clicker“ („How to train dogs using the clicker“), which was released in Spring of 2007. The author runs the dog-school GREH in Berlin. We also did several cartoons for the dog-school's brochure and website. We did some large wooden signs with cartoon-paintings for a horsefarm north of Berlin. Besides we created the club's logo and developed the membership-cards.
Just to give an example of how a brochure could look like, you see the inside of the horsefarm's brochure above. We also made brochures like this for vets and holiday apartements.
We created a cartoon-owl
as a mascot for the forester's house
at Pudagla, Usedom
(shown in the picture to the left)
They liked the owl so much
as to rebuild it as a wooden sign.
The owl was carved into a single
piece of wood and now decorates
the entrance of the exhibition at
the forester's house.
